From Netherlands: travel to Brussels, Lille or Paris from Amsterdam and Rotterdam (among others) by Thalys or InterCity trains. Transfer to a TGV towards Lyon.
From Germany: travel to Lyon from Frankfurt by TGV/ICE train (France–Germany). Transfer from the internal German train network to the TGV/ICE France-Germany departure stations.
From Italy: TGV/TER offers connections from Milan to Lyon: check schedules as well as the required transfers.
